BIMI Test

BIMI is an optional setting that can display your logo in supported inboxes.

About BIMI

BIMI lets your brand logo appear next to your emails in the recipient's inbox. The logo comes from an SVG file referenced in your domain's DNS record.

BIMI requires a DMARC policy of quarantine or reject, so the logo only shows on mail that truly comes from you.

How do I set up BIMI?

  1. Set your DMARC policy to p=quarantine or p=reject.
  2. Prepare a simple square SVG (Tiny PS) of your logo and host it over https.
  3. Add a TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain.com in the form v=BIMI1; l=SVG-URL;

Frequently asked questions

Is BIMI required?

No. It is optional and helps brand trust and recognition.

Why doesn't my logo show up yet?

Some mailbox providers also require a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC), and not every provider supports BIMI.

Does BIMI work with DMARC p=none?

No. The DMARC policy must be at least quarantine.
